Cascades:

I rise charged by what's in store. We ready our vehicles, and we are out the door. Facing, east I see, the sunrise she painted for me. Navy, hills fading green, back dropped by clouds on fire.  Oh, we move quickly to traverse through her foothills.  Past fields, and blue rivers. Pit stopping by where Sahaley falls. Entranced in the, awe of mothers work. No words can explain, you just have to feel it. Standing, at the base of the sky, oh I hear the call within, my wild inside. Boom! I come bursting out of my skin, thundering  energy waves crashing through my stride as I climb, slowly I set in rhythm. Breathing in time, my heart starts to sing taking in everything. Bathe, wrapped in sounds only mountains can make. The trail continues to climb.  I am, starting to feel, her slope now, the shifting ground. We are, starting to see, our goals now, to stand right on the edge and peer out over Cascades. Oh man I feel alive. Ive never heard my heart beat so loud. I am the red ridge line, where contrasts are so hard its stunning. Poetic dilation, helping me perceive, just what I want to. Heya heya, heya heya. Taking her hand, helps steady my wobble.

Rounding, the corner I'm, struck by just how powerful they are. The sisters full view, so large I can't help but line in. Gaia!
